meet the owner
Welcome to Benninger Media! My journey as a business owner began back in 2017, when my love for the art of videography and photography turned into more than just a hobby. I attended Slippery Rock University from 2016-2020, graduating with a bachelors degree in Digital Media Production and a minor in Film & Media Studies. While in college, I worked for SRU’s Athletic Communication Department as a student videographer/photographer, where I captured hype style content for the school’s sports team. Also, while in college, I worked as both an intern and part time employee for the Pittsburgh Penguins in their Media Production Department, where I captured video interviews, created video packages of community efforts, and helped with game-day operations.
After graduation in 2020, I began my professional career in the outdoor industry working as a video producer for a TV show located in central, PA. In 2022, my now-wife and I decided to move back closer to friends and family and that is when I started my current part-time role as video production & content specialist at the Duquesne University Small Business Development Center located in Pittsburgh, PA. Here, I get to help small businesses in the greater Pittsburgh area produce both video and photo content, as well as guide them through their overall digital marketing journey.
My mission, through Benninger Media, is to guide individuals, entrepreneurs, & business owners through the ever-changing world of digital content marketing.
